TVLine reports that MTV’s supernatural series has teased the fans at the 2015 New York Comic-Con panel with the first promo video for the second half episodes of “Teen Wolf” Season 5. The brief promo trailer is packed with exciting scenes that the “Teen Wolf” fans should look forward to when the show returns.

The “Teen Wolf” Season 5B trailer teases on the fate of characters Lydia Martin (Holland Roden) at the Eichen House and Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) at the hospital. Theo Raeken (Cody Christian) left Lydia in a catatonic state after accessing her memories on the Nemeton while Sheriff Stilinski was badly injured.

The promo video teases the return of Dr. Gabriel Valack (Steven Brand) in “Teen Wolf” Season 5B as he talks to Lydia like having a therapy session at the Eichen House. Meanwhile, Sheriff Stilinski’s condition will cause another confrontation between Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O’Brien) and Scott.

However, the trailer teases that the best friends will have a physical confrontation. “Where were you Scott?” Stiles asks Scott in anger before attacking his best friend.

The Scott-Stiles friendship became a rocky one when Theo entered the picture. Theo used Stiles’ secret of killing chimera Donovan (Ashton Moio) in self-defense to damage his closeness with Scott.

“Teen Wolf” character Kira Yukimura (Arden Cho) will be making a badass comeback in the second half episodes of the fifth season. Kira decided to leave Beacon Hills with her family in “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 8 titled “Ouroboros” to search for answers and figure out what to do with her uncontrollable Kitsune powers after the Dread Doctors did something to her.

The Dread Doctors will continue to bring terror in Beacon Hills especially with the arrival of another supernatural creature called “La Bete” or “The Beast.” The threat of the new supernatural creature in Beacon Hills makes Theo and his pack of chimeras want to join forces with Scott because they will be fighting for their lives.

Meanwhile, another “Teen Wolf” character teased to make a badass comeback is Chris Argent (JR Bourne). The former werewolf hunter shows up with a gun in the promo video after Scott told Malia in the promo video that he called someone for backup as they face the Dread Doctors.

The “Teen Wolf” Season 5B trailer has also revealed the exact return date of the MTV series. “Teen Wolf” Season 5 returns with episode 11 on Jan. 5, 2016 at 9/8c on MTV.
