With the Mark of Cain troubling Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) in "Supernatural" Season 10, the fans are expecting to see again the character that had the mark before it got transferred to the hunter. Actor Timothy Omundson recently teased about Cain's return in the CW TV series on Twitter.

"Why am I going to Vancouver? A) PSYCH reunion B) Bringing Cain back to #SUPERNATURAL C) Extradition Hint: Not A or C," the 45-year-old actor posted on his Twitter account @Omundson on Saturday, Dec 13. The former "Psych" star got introduced as Cain in "Supernatural" Season 9, episode 11 titled "First Born."

In the episode, Cain transferred the mark to Dean so the hunter can kill Abaddon (Alaina Huffman), a Knight of Hell, with the use of the First Blade. However, the effects of the Mark of Cain appear to be getting worse for Dean Winchester in the first half of "Supernatural" Season 10.

According to an Enstars report, actor Timothy Omundson will be making an appearance in "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 14 as the "Father of Murder." The episode will continue to focus on the Mark of Cain storyline.

Cain appears to be the only one who knows what the mark is inside and out. The actor teased that the tension will intensify in the episode where Cain returns because the former and present bearer of the mark will face each other once again.

"I can guarantee you it's going to get pretty intense," Omundson shared to AfterBuzz TV. Other "Supernatural" characters will be returning as well in the second half of season 10 such as Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) and Charlie Bradbury (Felicia Day).

Actress Ruth Connell, who portrays Crowley's (Mark Sheppard) mother Rowena, will continue to appear in the upcoming episodes of "Supernatural" Season 10 as the show further explores on the relationship of the King of Hell with his witch mother. Meanwhile, a Carter Matt report noted down that there is still a possibility that more familiar faces or characters will return to "Supernatural" to join Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean, Castiel (Misha Collins) and Crowley.

"Supernatural" Season 10 is scheduled to return to the CW Network on Jan. 20, 2015 with episode 10 titled "The Hunter Games."
