The smash hit “Super Time Force Ultra” or STFU, which the creators intended to do, is coming to both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita as a cross-buy title. The game is a side-scrolling shooter, similar to the “Contra” or “Metal Slug” games, filled with equally absurd situations and challenging gameplay. To add incentive to “Super Time Force Ultra” for PlayStation gamers, two exclusive characters for the Sony platforms have been unveiled.

Oddly enough, the first PlayStation exclusive character for STFU is the president of Sony Worldwide Studios himself, Shuhei Yoshida. Revealed in the PlayStation Blog, Yoshida will be blasting enemies with positivity, thanks to his super powered smartphone that can shoot heart emoticons and tweet rockets.

The next two characters should be more familiar to PlayStation gamers. The first being the nameless protagonist from the hit title “Journey,” which will also be coming to PlayStation 4 sometime this year. The mysterious figure will be able to gracefully dash through levels, while also using its scarf to attack the numerous enemies on screen.

Lastly is Sir Galahad from the PlayStation 4 exclusive title ‘The Order: 1886.” Galahad looks like he’ll fit in rather nicely with the rest of the STFU crew, since the character already hails from an alternate timeline, which mixes the Victorian era of London with a variety of steampunk inspired weapons.

It seems like game developer Capybara has worked quite hard in bringing these character to STFU. Each character possesses a unique ability and gameplay style, so players won’t feel like they’re playing as a regular character that just happens to have a different character model from the others. Instead, each character will seemingly be unique and stand out from the rest of the pack.

“Super Time Force Ultra” will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita soon, though how soon the game will be coming hasn’t been confirmed yet. The game is currently available on Steam, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The Steam version of STFU also came with a set of exclusive characters, though this time from various Valve games like “Left for Dead 2” and “Team Fortress 2.” More STFU information can be found in the game’s official website.
