Capcom is teasing some spectacular announcements for “Street Fighter V” coming with the PlayStation Experience 2015. The first came by way of Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono, who had teased an image that suggests possible updates about the game.

The image, spotted by GeekSnack, contained a lot of “Street Fighter V” merchandise, including figurines of Cammy, Ryu’s boxing gloves, an artwork featuring Ryu and a Blanka figurine, which someone appears to be holding up to the camera. Ono’s teasing caption mentions wanting to talk about “news” in relation to the franchise, but he did not mention any specifics.

Sharp-eyed fans have also mentioned over Ono's Twitter teaser the presence of the Capcom Cup TE2, which is the fighting stick for the franchise. This may be related to the new announcement made by Mad Catz about the new line of game controllers for “Street Fighter V,” all of which are scheduled to launch on the same date as the game.

According to Globe News Wire, Mad Catz will start taking preorders for the “Street Fighter V” controllers on Dec. 5, which is the first day of the PlayStation Experience. This will also serve as the unveiling event for the controllers. In the official press release, the company has confirmed that there will be controllers that are designed for particular players, whether they are casual gamers or professional competitors.

“We can’t wait for players to get the full ‘Street Fighter V’ experience with this new line of fighting game controller,” said Capcom Director of Brand Marketing Matt Dahlgren in the press release.

The four controllers include the “Street Fighter V” Arcade FightStick TE2+ is the Tournament Edition that has new touchpad controls, L3 and R3 buttons, compatibility with both the PS3 and PS4 consoles and exclusive artwork. There’s the “Street Fighter V” Arcade FightStick TE-S+, which is a more updated version of the aforementioned Tournament Edition controller, and one that is fitting of tournaments.

There’s also the “Street Fighter V” Arcade FightStick Alpha, which has a six-button design that is more compact. This is also the design that boasts the real arcade stick feel of playing. Finally, for those who want the full-fledged fighting experience, the “Street Fighter V” FightPad PRO may be the best choice for best controls, precision play and comfortable handling. It has a gamepad-style controller but with proper configuration of buttons for the best fighting experience.

Earlier, updates for both the PS4 and PC versions of “Street Fighter V” have been sighted. The size is pretty massive for an update, clocking in over 2GB. This has pointed even more to stress tests happening before the game is released.

The beta has already been confirmed to run for four days, from Dec. 17 to 20. Both versions of “Street Fighter V” will be part of the beta this time. Capcom has yet to detail what will be included in the latest beta.
