More trailers and TV spots for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” have been unveiled as the film nears its release in the US on Dec. 18. A new international trailer and another featurette have been revealed online, this time featuring more scenes of Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren and showing for the first time Lupita Nyong’o’s Maz Kanata.

Driver’s Kylo Ren is featured in more fight scenes in the exclusive Chinese trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" released this week. New footage on Kylo Ren’s attack on Jakku, Daisy Ridley’s Rey and John Boyega’s Finn being chased by TIE fighters and more action sequences are also revealed in the trailer below, with introduction from Chinese teen idol Lu Han.

The video opens with Kylo Ren arriving on Jakku. The place has already been torched by the Stormtroopers. As Driver’s voiceover says, “I’ll show them the power of the darkness,” viewers get another glimpse at the First Order assembling at their fortress. Driver’s voiceover continues saying, “No one will stand in our way,” and the scene cuts to show Kylo Ren holding his hilted lightsaber while being accompanied by other masked villains. The familiar line “I will finish what you started” plays in the background, and the scene switches to reveal Darth Vader’s burnt mask.

Ridley’s Rey opens another sequence in the trailer, which shows her scavenging for scraps and talking to her droid friend, BB-8. A new footage of the TIE fighters arriving on Jakku is then revealed. After Rey and Finn meet in the desert, BB-8 alerts them of the enemies coming. The droid is apparently being hunted down by the First Order because it is carrying vital information.

The trailer then continues with some action-packed sequences on air and on land. There’s Finn and Rey running for their lives and Finn saying they need a pilot to outrun the enemies. Rey tells him, “We’ve got one.” Then the video cuts to a scene showing Harrison Ford’s Han Solo piloting the Millennium Falcon with Chewbacca, Rey, Finn and BB-8 as his passengers. Somehow along the movie, Finn also learns to control the ship’s turret to fire back at the enemies.

Various scenes from the previous videos released for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” are also included in the international trailer. There’s Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron piloting the X-Wing, Finn getting arrested and the Falcon crash landing on enemy turf. The video ends with Finn in a lightsaber duel with Kylo Ren and X-Wing jets attacking the Star Destroyer.

Meanwhile, Maz Kanata has also made her onscreen debut in a recently released “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” featurette from Disney. The alien with the goggles seen at the 0:15 time mark in the video below is believed to be Nyong’o’s Maz Kanata. She wears the goggles because her eyes hold a special power said to be linked to the Force, according to The Guardian.
