Aside from filming in the desert plains of Abu Dhabi and heading to Skellig Michael island, most of the production for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" happened in the Pinewood Studios set of the movie. Filming already wrapped up days ago but spoilers and set photos continue to leak. Recently, another Pinewood set description supposedly hints that the ice planet will be revisited in the movie.

A source, who Makingstarwars describes as an anonymous friend, tells writer Jason Ward that Pinewood Studios was the set of many stage scenes for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." The first set the source supposedly saw "looked like a large snow stage and was absolutely huge. "

"It was all outside and looked like fake snow laid on top of sand, so it could well have been a sand stage beforehand, as some of the fake snow had either melted or just faded," the source said.

Ward agrees with the source's set description, claiming "the snow was just put over the sand to keep things moving and minimize clean up." However, the source claims the other side of the stage set, where a huge green screen is presumed to have CGI effects, had a Hoth-like scene to it.

"The terrain, dare I say it, was Hoth like and had a few elevation changes," the source added.

Likewise, Ward claims it's interesting to remember that previous leaked concept photos for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" show the sand planet (Tatooine) and the snow planet (Hoth) being interchangeable. Somehow, the source's description makes one think that it actually snows in Tatooine.

According to the source the Hoth-like set "include loads of Stormtroopers." The said Imperial soldiers were reportedly spotted on the set a few weeks back. Even "Bond cast dressed in Stormtrooper outfits and plenty of Star Wars machines" were seen on the set. Per Ward the characters were apparently involved in a battle scene in the ice planet.

Fans may never know if Hoth will be re-visited in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." However, it's also worth remembering that "James Bond" star Roger Moore once witnessed a Hoth-like set staged over at Pinewood Studios. Slashfilm claimed the actor hinted of an ice planet scene being filmed with "a lot mountain and snow."
