Adele is rumoured to be working again with MGM on a new song for “Spectre.” She was reportedly flown to California to record another the theme song for the new James Bond movie.

According to Mirror UK, a source confirmed Adele was indeed flown to California to meet with the movie executives. However, the 26-year-old was reportedly there to present her idea for a new theme song for “Spectre.” A source at MGM claimed Adele was “actually working on a music idea for the James Bond film." "She hadn’t been in contact with the film bosses for a few weeks, but suddenly she said she had great plans for the theme, so they flew her over,” the unnamed source said.

Likewise, the source claimed the executives have “made their feelings known to Adele” that they would want her again for “Spectre.” However, they have yet to decide if they will use her music as theme song for the film. The decision will supposedly be made after she has finished with the recording.

Adele won an Oscar for her theme song for the first movie franchise, “Skyfall.” According to the site, if her meeting with the executives turns out well and her song will once again be chosen, then she would be the next artist after Shirley Bassey to record more than one song for the James Bond films. The latter reportedly recorded three songs including “Goldfinger,” “Diamonds Are Forever” and “Moonraker.”

However, if it was Daniel Craig’s choice, he would definitely choose Adele’s song. People claimed the actor cried when he heard her theme song for “Skyfall.” “From the opening bars I knew immediately, then the voice kicked in, and it was exactly what I'd wanted from the beginning,” he said.

Daniel Craig, who reprises his role as James Bond in “Spectre,” recalled Adele’s song just “got better and better” the more he listened to it. He said the more they made the movie, the more the theme song fits. According to the MGM source, the actor even vouched for Adele to sing the next theme song. The source revealed Daniel Craig was the “biggest advocate” for the singer and even asked executives that Adele sing again for “Spectre.” However, there are no official comments yet from Craig, Adele and the studio regarding the report.
