Following her Instagram pregnancy announcement on Sunday, Brooklyn Decker showed off her baby bump as she glammed up to attend her hubby Andy Roddick’s annual Andy Roddick Foundation Gala on Monday at Austin City Limits Live in Texas. The couple is expecting their first child together after being married for six years.

The “Sports Illustrated” model strutted on the red carpet wearing a low-cut navy blue dress that accentuated her growing baby bump. She wore a pair of checkered pointed-toe heels, tied her hair in a bun and accessorised with a small necklace. Alongside her was husband and retired tennis player Andy, who looked dashing in a dark blazer over a checkered button-down shirt.

Andy had also invited pop legend Elton John, who supported his foundation since it was founded, to perform once again at the event. According to Page Six, the “Rocket Man” singer, who has two adoptive sons with husband David Furnish, is helping the couple come up with names for their upcoming baby. Elton revealed that he talked to 28-year-old Brooklyn and 32-year-old Andy backstage, suggesting boy names like Bilbo, after “The Hobbit” character, and “Rory,” after actor Rory Sherman from “The Lord of the Rings.” The couple says they are still deciding on what to name their new kid and that they are still open to more suggestions.

On Sunday, Brooklyn took to Instagram to announce that she was finally expecting her first child with husband of six years, Andy. “So this happened... #the3ofus,” she captioned the photo of her standing sideways while showing off her protruding belly.

At the Gala, Andy told People that they were planning to keep the news a secret for a while, but the event and his wife’s show on Netflix made them realise that there was no way they could hide it anymore, but they still plan to keep the baby’s gender to themselves for now. Brooklyn also admitted that the news promoted more support for Andy’s charity.

Both Andy and Brooklyn will be parents for the first time, but the actress admitted that she already had a little glimpse of what to expect, thanks to her show “Grace and Frankie.” Brooklyn shared that one of the episodes had a flashback scene where she was “giving birth in a very dramatic fashion,” saying that she found it much more terrifying than she anticipated given her current situation. “I don’t know if it helped prepare me, but it really just made the impending events a little more terrifying,” she joked.

All-star tennis player Andy began his foundation nearly 15 years ago, aiming to work with the Austin community to expand opportunities for low-earning young people and help them learn, thrive and succeed. The Gala is an annual event that raises funds for the charity to continue its mission.
