"Shots Fired," starring Stephen Moyer as Lieutenant Breeland, Will Patton as Sheriff Platt, Sanaa Lathan as Detective Ashe, Richard Dreyfuss as Arlen Cox and Stephan James as Preston Terry, will have an upcoming episode titled "Hour 9: Come to Jesus." It will feature an investigation on the Sheriff's Department which will scrutinize Sheriff Platt and Lieutenant Breeland. Read on to learn more about it.

A press release from FOX states that on "Shots Fired" Season 1, episode 9, the Sheriff's Department will be thoroughly investigated after a surprising discovery about the Auxiliary Deputy program. This will leave Lieutenant Breeland and Sheriff Platt under scrutiny. Meanwhile, Governor Eamons (Helen Hunt) will make a hard decision that involves her latest education initiative.

Elsewhere, the judge will finally make a ruling in Ashe's custody case. Plus, a former Auxiliary Deputy reveals a secret and other potential perpetrators will come forward to negotiate with Preston and Ashe. Ami Canaan Mann directed "Hour 9: Come to Jesus."

A sneak peek video of this episode was posted on the official YouTube channel of Fox. It shows Ashe talking to Preston. "We can't let it go down like this," she tells him. Ashe will also have a conversation with Lieutenant Breeland. "I'll fight you without him, I'll fight you in the courtroom," Ashe tells Breeland. Watch the video at the bottom of this article.

'Shots Fired' episodes

"Hour Nine: Come to Jesus" will be aired in the US on May 17. The episode before it was "Hour Eight: Rock Bottom," which was written by Gina Prince-Bythewood and directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood. After these episodes, the "Shots Fired" Season 1 Finale "Hour Ten: Last Dance" will be aired on May 24.

"Shots Fired" airs on Mondays in Australia's Showcase channel. It also airs in the US on Fox on Wednesdays from 8-9 pm EST.
