Samsung had launched the Galaxy Note Edge with a curved edged display last year in September. At the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 tech show on March 1, it is going to reveal dual-edged curved screen Galaxy S6 variant called the Galaxy S Dual Edge.

The Business Korea has recently published an article on the dual-edge edition of the Galaxy S6. The tech world has been referring to the handset as Galaxy S6 Edge, but Business Korea is calling the device as Galaxy S Dual Edge. Phone Arena claims that the curved displays of the Galaxy S Dual Edge will not be as sloping as seen on Galaxy Note Edge. The same can be confirmed through one of the leaked images of the Galaxy S Dual Edge.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Note Edge sports a curved display that almost covers the entire edge of the device. It enables the device to display various kinds of notifications, frequently accessed apps, and so on.

The Galaxy S Dual Edge will house a 5.1-inch and the Galaxy Note Edge features a 5.6-inch display. Since the Galaxy S Dual Edge has a smaller display, it does not sport large dual-edge screen. Because of its narrow screen, it won’t display information such as notifications.

Citing industry source, Business Korea says that the by offering lesser angled and decreased curved screens, Samsung will be able to improve the production of the curved screens and launch many products featuring it

Already, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint have started with the pre-registration process for the next flagship from Samsung. Ars Technica claims that the device will be pricier than the iPhone 6 Plus. For instance, the 128 GB of iPhone 6 Plus costs euro 1019 ($1142, AU$ 1466) in the Europe whereas the Galaxy S Dual Edge with same storage configuration is expected to be available for euro 1049 ($1192, AU$ 1517). It is also predicted that the handset will be launched as limited concept smarpthone.
