Samsung is on a roll after the release of the flagship Galaxy S6 and the curved-display clad Galaxy S6 Edge. But now, a new report states that, two new Samsung Galaxy devices with official IMEI numbers have been caught in the wild. The two devices in focus are the heavily-rumoured “Samsung Galaxy Note 5” and a brand new handset called “Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus.”

Debunking New Galaxy Note 5 And Galaxy S6 Plus

The model numbers of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus are apparently SM-N920F and SM-G928S, respectively. Furthermore, the internal code name or model name "Zen" reportedly belongs to the Galaxy S6 Plus, while the name "Noble" refers to the Galaxy Note 5 phablet.

In the process of debunking the code name, GSM Arena says, the SM-G928 will be a variant of the Galaxy S6 with associated model number SM-G920. In any case, readers should note that, there’s no information available to ascertain the difference between the Galaxy S6 Plus and the other two S6 models namely the flagship Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. On the other hand, the last letter on the model number reportedly shows the regional version or the carrier. This means, the letter “F” pertains to Europe, whereas the letters “A” and “V” belong to AT&T and Verizon, respectively. Meanwhile, the letters “S” and “K” apparently stand for SK Telecom and KT, respectively.

Moreover, the model number SM-N920F reportedly pertains to the upcoming gigantic phablet dubbed the Galaxy Note 5, whereas the predecessor Galaxy Note 4 comes with the following model number: SM- N910. Except for indicating that the Note 5 version pertains to Europe with the letter “F,” no other details have been revealed on this handset.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Specifications

Moving on to the key Galaxy Note 5 specifications, Phone Arena says, the upcoming handset will flaunt a 4K screen resolution of 2,160 x 3,840 pixels (Ultra HD). Notably, the 4K display along with the synonymous Super AMOLED display technology could turn out be a visual treat. Furthermore, the Galaxy Note 5 model with dual-edge display will apparently feature a 5.78-inch screen, whereas the regular version will feature an ultimate 5.89-inch display. Therefore, the pixel densities of the dual-edge and regular versions will translate to 762 ppi and 748 ppi, respectively

Moreover, Tech Times Website says, the Galaxy Note 5 will reportedly be powered by an octa-core (Snapdragon 810) processor. Contrary to the above report, new rumours pointed out by Tech Times say, the Note 5 specifications could include the powerful Exynos 7420 chipset last seen in the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. In the meantime, the Galaxy Note 5 release date is expected to be in September, notes Sam Mobile. Nonetheless, Samsung has not confirmed the Galaxy Note 5 specifications or the existence of the Galaxy S6 Plus thus far.
