Princess Letizia of Spain was a lady in red at her latest outing. On July 23, the Princess of Asturias broke free from subdued colours and showed off a bright dress at the San Francisco Cultural Center in Caceres, Spain.

For the Instituto Cervantes directors' meeting, Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Spain once again matched their outfits. The Prince wore a red tie and the Princess picked a red dress. Like the Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Letizia is not shy about recycling outfits. The red Max Mara number, is one of the Spanish royal's favorites. Princess Letizia does make an effort to change it up by pairing the sheer-sleeved dress with varying footwear - gold Magrit heels on one occasion, suede peep-toes on another.

The Princess of Asturias doesn't often pick a colorful dress, but when she does, it is always a sight to see! Take her other red pick on January 2013. Princess Letizia showed off her figure in a fitted, long-sleeved Felipe Varela dress embellished with lace.

Princess Letizia definitely has a thing for lace dresses. When she attended a dinner with the International Olympic Committee Evaluation Commission Team, green lace was her fabric of choice. The mother-of-two picked such a rich, saturated shade of green that really brightened her up. As for the dress' designer, it was the Princess' favorite, Felipe Varela.

Once in a while, Princess Letizia treats her fashion fans with a floral print. In July 2012, the royal looked lovely in a belted, floral print dress courtesy of fast fashion brand Zara. Another vibrantly coloured, printed favorite? An orange-and-pink, scarf print Uterque skirt that the Princess often pairs with a white shirt.

Princess Letizia had a lot of fun with colour when she and Prince Felipe visited a traditional students residence in June 2013. The Princess of Asturias wore a top and cropped pants in a soft shade of yellow. An ivory tweed jacket from Mango and nude peep-toes completed one of her best colourful looks yet.
