"Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 fatal finale shocked fans as they witness the death of Mona Vanderwaal (Janel Parrish). However, fans of Mona will see her again in Season 5B in the form of flashbacks.

Janel Parrish talked to Zap2it about the second half of "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5.

The actress, renowned for her portrayal of Mona, revealed that she will return to the show but in a different way.

Parrish mentioned she is excited about the return of Mona through flashback sequence. She added that her character will "still be haunting Rosewood."

When the website asked Parrish about Mona's murder, she admitted that she is not 100 percent sure who the person is.

"I do not know the exact, honest-to-God, 100 percent answer of who killed Mona, but I do have my suspicions and I'm pretty sure it's the same as everybody else -- I'm thinking that everyone thinks it's Alison and I would be on the same thought train. But as always on our set, the writers keep things close to the vest. ... All will be revealed in time," Parrish said to Zap2it.

Parrish also talked about how Mona's sudden demise will affect Hanna.

She stated that Mona's death will hit Hanna hard. Although they had their ups and downs but they were close. Indeed, Hanna is destroyed because of Mona's untimely death.

Parrish also shared a tease about "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5B.

"There are two focuses -- definitely Mona's murder, but also who killed Bethany and what is up with Alison. Is she really the socio that they think she is? Did she kill Mona? Where is Mona's body? It's going to be very mysterious, all about murder, very dark. It's going to be amazing. ...

Season 5b is all about the mystery of Alison and finding out who she is and what she's done. Would she really murder Mona? Would she really murder Bethany? Why would she do these things? Who did it, if not her? Where is Mona's body? It's a mishmash of mysteries that all seem to be circling Alison," Parrish teased.

"Pretty Little Liars" Season 5B airs early 2015 after a Christmas special instalment in December.
