“Outlander” TV series cast member Caitriona Balfe appears in a new video by Starz to answer questions posed by the fans on Twitter. The actress spoke about her favourite drink and other topics of interest to her fans.

The first question the actress answered was about the similarities and differences between her and her character Claire. Balfe revealed that she has a bit of the “wild nature” that Claire has. About the difference, the actress believes that she may be able to keep her mouth shut more than Claire, but she is not sure.

Another fan asked her if there is anything about Claire that annoys her. Balfe said that Grant O’Rourke (Rupert) likes to call Claire “buzz kill” sometimes, because the character can be “a little bossy sometimes.”

Balfe prefers French wine to Scottish whiskey, she revealed in the video. She however added later that she would like to have the Scottish whiskey after drinking French wine. The actress also revealed that she prefers trousers over the Scottish kilts, which her fellow cast member Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser) has been wearing throughout the first season.

“Outlander” Season 2, however, will have a whole new set of wardrobe and Jamie will not be seen wearing his kilt in the early episodes. Jamie and Claire were last seen travelling to France, but the character may get to wear his kilt again when he returns to Scotland.

The recently released trailer of the next season shows Claire and Jamie deciding to try and change the future. The two characters will attempt to stop the Jacobite rebellion from before it starts.

“Outlander” Season 2 is slated to premiere by March or April of 2016. Filming of some of the episodes has already been completed, but the production still continues with the cast and crew currently in Scotland.
