"The Originals" fans are looking forward to watch the mid-season finale episode titled "The Map of Moments to see what will happen next in the Mikaelson family drama. Cast member Charles Michael Davis, who portrays Marcel in the CW spinoff series, teased that the mid-season finale episode is going to be a really big with story-changing impact.

In an Access Hollywood interview, the 30-year-old actor teased that the ending of "The Originals" Season 2, episode 9 titled "The Map of Moments" will introduce a lot of new elements in the show that can change the direction of where the storyline is going. "So what happened with the [Season 1] finale, where we saw some of the family members like Mikael come back and it really changed things, there'll be some elements that will come in and change their world," Davis shared.

As for his "The Originals" character, Charles Michael Davis revealed that Marcel will continue to protect the people he cares about especially Davina (Danielle Campbell) and Cami (Leah Pipes). The actor shared that Cami will be dealing with a burden that she discovered in "The Originals" Season 2, episode 8 titled "The Brothers That Care Forgot."

Charles Michael Davis admitted that Marcel will not be able to change Esther's (Sonja Sohn) plan for Cami but he can offer her comfort. When it comes to Davina, the CW star shared that the teenage witch is not making really good life choices at the moment.

The actor thinks that Marcel's wisdom will let Davina personally grow and learn from the choices that she made which includes her connection to Mikael (Sebastian Roché) and Kol (Daniel Sharman). "Some of her choices and decisions are making things a little bit complicated in their world, but she's trying to recover," Davis teased.

Meanwhile, co-star Danielle Campbell has also teased the excited fans in an Access Hollywood interview about the much anticipated mid-season finale episode. The 19-year-old actress shared that "The Originals" characters have their own storyline and plans in the second season.

However, the young CW star teased that those devised plans will start to spiral out of control to the point that it results to chaos. "It makes for a really cool episode," Campbell shared. "The Originals" Season 2 airs on Monday nights at 8/7c on the CW Network.
