Nina Dobrev: 'Vampire Diaries' Actress Spotted Hanging Out with 'Captain America' Actor Chris Evans at Daytona 500
“Vampire Diaries” actress Nina Dobrev attended the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Daytona 500 held on Sunday, Feb 23, at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. At the event, Ms Dobrev had a blast hanging out with famous racers as well as posing for a picture with “Captain America” actor Chris Evans.
According to the Just Jared Jr report, the 25-year-old "TVD" actress was with NASCAR driver Carl Edwards of the #99 Fastenal Ford during the "Daytona 500 Meet & Greet" event before posing for a photograph with the Grand Marshall Chris Evans. Click HERE to see photo.

The Wet Paint reports Mr Gordon secured the fourth place at the end of the night with Dale Earnhardt Jr owning it. Additionally, the "The Vampire Diaries" star was spotted hanging out with another driver, Denny Hamlin. Mr Hamlin shared the experience of meeting the brunette beauty on his Twitter account @dennyhamlin, and Nina Dobrev was quick to retweet the post to share it to her millions of followers.

At the big racing event, Chris Evans served as the Grand Marshal for the day where he was tasked to give the "Start your engines" command to the drivers. The 32-year-old "The Avengers" actor shared before completing his task: "Being here, you get the sense of how important this is and how much this is cherished and valued by so many people...You show up and you realize 'I hope I don't mess this up!'"

Chris Evan's Grand Marshall duty at the Daytona 500 race included him in the list of celebrities who appeared at the event to promote their upcoming movies and in his case, it is "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" which is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on April 4, 2014.

As for Nina Dobrev, the CW star is set to return to the small screen after a brief hiatus as Elena Gilbert/Katherine Pierce in "The Vampire Diaries" season 5 on Thursday night, Feb 27, at 8 pm ET on the CW Network with episode 14 titled "No Exit."
