“The New Celebrity Apprentice” episode 1 premiered on Monday and fans couldn’t help but miss Donald Trump, who was replaced by Arnold Schwarzenegger as the new governor.

It still remains a matter of debate if Trump will fill the expectations of people as the US president, but going by the audience’s opinion he fits in better as the host of "Celebrity Apprentice" season 15 in comparison to Schwarzenegger.

Change doesn’t come easy or quick. That is perhaps the reason why fans were missing Trump after the first episode of the season was telecasted. However, it is expected that the fans will get acquainted with Arnold and his antics soon.

From music to the editing cuts, the aura of the show remains the same. However, apart from the host, there are a few other things that have also changed, which are as follows:

Catchphrase

There were a lot of speculations about the catchphrase that Arnold would use to end an episode and eliminate a contestant from the show. Fans used to wait for Trump to say “you’re fired” in earlier seasons of “Celebrity Apprentice.” However, Arnold has changed the catch phrase to “you’re terminated” in this season.

Location

For this season, the makers of the show have moved from New York to Los Angeles, which apparently didn’t bring about much change in the setup of the show.

Carrier

Instead of the limousine that was used in the previous seasons, this time a helicopter (“choppa”) was used to pick up the eliminated contestant. The first two contestants to be “terminated” in “The New Celebrity Apprentice” episode 1 were Carnie Wilson and Carrie Keagan.

Tasks

One of the major concerns of the fans has been reduction in the time dedicated to tasks, which are now crammed into one hour instead of two. Fans are missing all the fun and arguments that all contestants go through during that time.

Receptionist

The receptionist of the show has also changed. Earlier, the role was portrayed by Amanda Miller but in the new season Mrs Landingham is in charge of the post. Interestingly, this time the receptionist has got a computer and so new Landingham doesn’t have to scribble in a notebook like Amanda.

Elevator

There’s no elevator in Schwarzenegger Inc. The element wasn't prominent in previous seasons as well. Schwarzenegger Inc is described as a startup in the show.

Certain changes have been observed in “The New Celebrity Apprentice” but there aren’t any major ones. The crux of the show remains the same. While many think Schwarzenegger did a fine job filling Trump's shoes, there are others who are still missing Trump and his antics. However, the tasks are the essence of the show and hopefully this is what is going to take the show forward.

“The New Celebrity Apprentice” episode 2 will air on NBC at 8PM ET on Jan. 9. It is not clear as of now if the show will air in Australia.
