“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Tuesday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Elly defends Angus from Susan and says he only meant well. She also claims that she won’t cross the line even if she’s experiencing a bad time. Susan insists that Angus has had a crush on his teacher for a long time, and Elly replies that she’s always been clear with the young teen about their boundaries. “I don’t think you were in any condition last night to be clear about anything,” Susan comments. Elly argues that she’s just heartbroken and only had a couple of drinks.

Digital Spy reports that Susan doesn’t buy Angus’ excuse of being in Elly’s room. As a result, Susan confronts her niece and decides to do something before things get worse.

Meanwhile, Steph feels that Mark’s focusing too much on their planned baby and realises that surrogacy wasn’t a good decision after all, according to Digital Spy spoilers. When she informs Mark, he’s expectedly disappointed. Elsewhere, Brooke is desperate to make quick cash and spins another tale to Gary.

“Neighbours” recap

On Monday, Elly was absolutely heartbroken after finding out that Derek’s getting married and that their hook-up meant nothing to him. Angus tried to comfort her, but she rebuffed his efforts. She ran off and he followed her. Elly told her what happened and revealed that when she had a miscarriage, Derek only offered to give her money. As Elly cried her heart out, Angus hugged her for comfort.

On her way to Harold’s, Piper spotted the two. She told Tyler what she saw, and he wondered whether something’s going on between Angus and his teacher. Seeing how worried Piper was, Tyler suspected that she has feelings for Angus, but she clarified that she’s only looking out for a friend. She asked Tyler to shake some sense with Elly, seeing that Angus is pointless. Tyler agreed to talk to Elly, and they met at Harold’s. Angus walked in on them and Tyler told him to go home. Angus refused and insisted to take Elly home. Tyler reported this to Piper, who rushed to prevent Angus from making a big mistake.

Later, Angus continued to comfort Elly in her room, caressing her face and kissing her. Piper arrived and woke up Susan and Karl. When Karl didn’t find Angus in his room, Piper suggested he might be in Elly’s room. Susan headed there and saw Angus on Elly’s bed. She called his attention and wondered what he’s doing.

Meanwhile, Xanthe was bummed after the way Ben’s treating her. Brooke wanted to take advantage of the situation and tried to fuel Xanthe’s anger, but Sheila offered an opposite advice. Xanthe chose to follow Sheila’s advice, making Brooke realise how much her daughter values Sheila’s opinion. Desperate to change that situation, Brooke decided to spice things up… literally. When Sheila mentioned that she can’t handle spicy food, Brooke secretly added more hot sauce on the old woman’s plate. As expected, Sheila wasn’t able to handle it and Gary rushed her to the hospital. Fortunately, Sheila only suffered from indigestion and not heart attack as Xanthe feared.
