The latest title in the MK franchise, “Mortal Kombat X” is already out. And with it comes the common test of resolutions between the platforms that it is releasing. When comparing the two versions, the PS4 and the Xbox One, however, it appears that, resolution-wise, one does rise above the other.

Gearnuke examines the resolution for both consoles, and found a difference between the two. According to the report, “Mortal Kombat X” is at a native 1080p and 60 fps for the PS4. But for the Xbox One, it appears that it is sub-native 1080p, with the difference seen in the horizontal resolution, which h been scaled up from 1360p. This is compared to the PS4’s 1920p horizontal, which was achieve without any scaling involved. The source did state that these resolution findings have resounded from various tests.

Still, this should not take away from the game, which boasts a number of features and characters. According to Kotaku’s latest findings, an interesting feature is the Krypt, where players can use their koins to unlock some special items in the game.
