"The Mortal Instruments" star Lily Collins got all glammed up for the Glamour Woman of the Year Awards at New York City. Aside from turning a lot of heads in her ethereal gown, Lily Collins spared a few minutes of her time to talk about the highly anticipated sequel to "City of Bones." Here's everything to know about the upcoming production on "City of Ashes."

Zac Efron was nowhere to be found at the Glamour Woman of the Year Awards opposite Lily Collins. However, Collins didn't need Efron to steal the spotlight. All thanks to the ethereal gown by Julien MacDonald, Collins looked like she stepped out of the fairy realm of the "Downworlders."

Collins completed her look with the latest line from Lancôme. Lily's makeup artist, Pati Dubroff, talked about the look in an interview with Hollywood Life. Pati made use of Lancôme L'Absolu Rouge in Berry Noir on Lily's lips, the Lancôme Color Design 5 Shadow & Liner Palette in Sienna Sultry and Lancôme L'Extreme Mascara on her eyes, and the Lancôme Blush Subtil Palette in Ménage à Trois Flush on Lily's cheeks for a flush of colour.

At the red carpet, Collins stopped for a few minutes for a quick interview with MTV News regarding the upcoming sequel to "The Mortal Instruments." Earlier reports claimed the sequel was scheduled for release by 2014 but according to Collins fans have to wait up because nothing has been announced as official yet.

"We don't know that," said Collins, adding, "Well, there is a lot of conversation still going on," she clarified. "I don't know anything else; I kind of am with everyone else in the waiting game."

Of course, Collins is eager to get back in her "Shadowhunter" gear and get back to kicking demon butt.

"I love the stories, I love Clary, we love the cast - I just have no clue," stated Collins, adding, "I think I'm like all the fans going, 'So, what's happening?' But you know they will be the first ones to figure it out when we do. You never know, right?"

Hopefully, Jamie Campbell Bower would still reprise the part of Jace Wayland opposite Lily Collins in "The Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes" film.
