Mark Wahlberg is missing his brother Donnie Wahlberg's wedding to TV personality Jenny McCarthy. Various media reports suggest that Mark is unable to attend the ceremony due to a prior commitment. The actor is slated to attend his daughter's birthday party.

Mark's rep informed E! News that the actor will be in Los Angeles to attend Ella's 11th birthday party. Ella is Mark and Rhea Durham's daughter.

However, the "The Italian Job" star tweeted to congratulate the newly-wedded couple.

Congratulations @DonnieWahlberg and @JennyMcCarthy, so happy for you both today.

A report by TMZ suggested that Mark is missing Donnie's wedding because he and his wife are not quite fond of his fiancée, Jenny.

Also, on Tuesday Ella turns 11 and he would not be present on the due to filming, so he wanted to be with her during the weekend.

Mark's wife Rhea Durham will also be absent from the wedding.

His Paul is certainly going to attend the ceremony.

According to sources close to Daily Mail, Mark is not a big fan of Jenny.

Jenny's interview to Howard Stern seemed to have upset Mark and others. In the interview, she talked about her sex life.

"I've been searching for the one - as you know, you were even helping me last time I was here trying to figure out people - so I went on a year of not dating, not f***ing, doing nothing except being by myself."

She added that she "went through probably 400 vibrators.

Jenny expected that Mark would attend her wedding.

She and Donnie got engaged in April and talked about her wedding.

The former Playboy model talked about the guest list.

"The hardest part is we have to cut down the wedding list, because the place we're getting married at, it's very boutique."

Elsewhere, Mark is currently shooting the sequel to "Ted" in Boston.
