With the LG G4 release date set within two weeks time-frame, many new details have cropped up from Korea. Interestingly, LG has already published some of the images of the G4, in addition to revealing key features. With so much information already available ahead of the release, a Korean report states that the G4 sales will not be as astounding as the G3.

LG G4 Sales Predictions

Apparently, The Korea Herald has cited a Korean analyst from Seoul working for IBK Investment & Securities stating that the LG G4 will be "an impressive product," however, the sales figures may not exceed the ambit set by the predecessor LG G3. It is worth noting that, LG reportedly sold nearly 10 million units of the G3 thus far. According to the same analyst, looking at the killer reception and demand of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge, the market conditions may not be favourable for the LG G4.

In the meantime, another analyst apparently pointed to the obvious LG G4 specification pertaining to the hardware as a negative aspect. To be specific, the upcoming device will reportedly be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor instead of the latest Snapdragon 810. According to the unnamed source, “The G4 would sport Qualcomm’s (slower) Snapdragon 808 chip instead of the latest Snapdragon 810, which I think might lose a selling point for LG.” In any case, readers must note that, the Korean tech giant has not confirmed any of the LG G4 specifications or features thus far.

LG G4 vs. LG G3: Specifications And Features

Phone Arena says, the rumoured LG G4 specifications include a 5.5-inch display and a Quad HD screen resolution. Notably, the G3 also comes with the same display specification. Speaking of camera configuration, a 16 MP rear-facing unit combined with a wide f/1.8 aperture has been tipped. In addition, there will also be a gracious 8 MP front-facing shooter for selfies. The LG G3, on the other hand, sports a 13 MP unit with f/1.3 aperture sensor and a 2.1 MP selfie shooter.

On the software side, the G4 will apparently run on Android Lollipop with a new version of LG’s UX. Meanwhile, the G3 runs on Android v4.4.2 (KitKat), which is upgradable to v5.0 (Lollipop). Adding a cherry on top, the upcoming G4 will reportedly come as multiple variants and this includes leather back shells and also the usual plastic cases. Unlike the G3, reports have constantly pointed to a LG G4 Stylus on the upcoming flagship device. Therefore, come April 28, LG fans will be treated to a killer looking G4.
