Former Glee star Charice Pempengco must still be on Cloud 9, following the continued boost to her career after he coming out as a lesbian on national television.

Recently, Charice was recognised by the Guinness Book of Records as the youngest winning judge in the history of X Factor, ABS-CBN reported.

The entry, which will come out in the 2014 edition of the Guinness Book of Records, reads, "Charice (Philippines, b. Charmaine Pempengco, 10 May 1992) was 20 years 150 days old when she mentored KZ Tandingan (b. Kristine Tandingan) to victory in the first season of 'The X Factor Philippines' on 7 October 2021."

Charice thanked Guinness for her recognition through a tweet.

X Factor is really a lucky charm for Charice because it was in this show that she got reunited with a former singing show rival, Alyssa Quijano, who eventually became her girlfriend. But Alyssa is also the cause of an ongoing rift between Charice and her mother, Raquel Pempengco.

After coming out despite fear of losing her career, Charice was also named as the sexiest lesbian by a LGBT Web site.

She is slated to perform in a concert with another famous Filipina lesbian, former child star Aiza Seguerra, on Sept 28.
