Khloe Kardashian's husband, Lamar Odom, finally released from the hospital
Former NBA player Lamar Odom has been released from the hospital. After being hospitalised since Oct. 13, 2015 due to an accidental overdose in a Nevada brothel, Odom has finally been moved to a private rehabilitation facility on Wednesday last week.
E! News has confirmed that after being admitted to a Nevada hospital then later transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Odom is now continuing his recovery in a private facility. He was initially found unresponsive in the Love Ranch in Nevada on Oct. 13. The incident came after a weekend of binge partying, which included his ingestion of various drugs, including cocaine and a herbal Viagra substitute.
Odom’s condition appeared to be grim at the beginning after he slipped into a coma. Thankfully, he was able to regain consciousness and slowly started to recover. It is unclear how much of his health he has regained by now. After he suffered damages to multiple major organs, various conflicting reports have been published about his real health status.
However, on New Year’s Eve, Odom’s son, 15-year-old Lamar, Jr., posted a healthy-looking photo of the athlete from his hospital room. The photo also shows Lamar Jr. and his sister, Destiny. The kids reportedly spent New Year’s Eve with their dad, while his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, was in Houston with her current beau, James Harden.
Kardashian and Odom were on their way to finalising their divorce when the unfortunate medical emergency took place. The former couple put their divorce on hold, and Kardashian was able to make important medical decisions for Odom during the time that he was unconscious. She and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, as well as the other members of Lamar’s family, have constantly been spotted coming in and out of the hospital.
