Kelly Osbourne may have been happy that her former co-host Giuliana Rancic already apologised for her hair comment regarding Zendaya Coleman’s hair, but new reports claimed she finally quit the “Fashion Police” because she did not like how Giuliana and the network handled the aftermath of issue. She is said to have been personally furious that she is being dragged into it when Giuliana claimed she never objected to the comments during several takes. Osbourne wants it out there that she did object all the time.

Page Six reported that the real reason why Kelly Osbourne quit “Fashion Police” was because she did not like how E! handled the backlash over Giuliana’s comment on Zendaya’s locks on the 87th Academy Awards. Kelly felt slighted that Giuliana said she did not object to the “disrespectful” and “racist” comment when it was given on several takes.

Zendaya, on her part, said Kelly’s decision to walk away from the show should be respected. When asked by paparazzi regarding Kelly’s decision to quit because of the feud between Zendaya and Giuliana, Zendaya was quick to say Kelly’s decision should be left alone as it is her life anyway. She also hopes that Kelly would do well in whatever she wants to do next.

With Kelly’s quitting the show leaving a vacancy for another host for the high-ranking fashion critique show, E! is said to be on a hard lookout for the next host. According to Hollywood Life, the network still do not have anyone fixed on mind. A source claimed that the show would even try out an experiment where several artists would be asked to host temporarily for different episodes until they find the best fit, like what “Live with Kelly Ripa” did, until the show found Michael Strahan.

“E! wants it to be something that people will be talking about for a while to get the word out and have the show continue to be a success,” the source explained. The source added that the last thing the network would want to do is make a rash and quick decision and then ultimately fail.
