When Kate Middleton stepped out of the Lindo Wing with Prince William to present their new princess, named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, to the media, everyone was raving about the new baby. However, many also noticed how the Duchess of Cambridge still managed to look radiant considering she had just given birth. According to a report, Kate continued with her facial regimen even during pregnancy to keep her looking good.

Marie Claire magazine did some research on what contributed to the Duchess of Cambridge’s camera-ready look on Saturday, May 2. Kate Middleton’s hair was perfectly combed and blown out. According to the publication, it’s all thanks to her hairdresser whom the Duchess reportedly managed to sneak in to the hospital before she stepped out of the Lindo Wing. However, Kate looking wide awake and gorgeous with her glowing skin even after the delivery is supposedly all from her "rigorous" facial regimen.

Kate Middleton’s facial regimen reportedly also consist of regular facial bee stings, a process that supposedly tricks the face into thinking it’s been stung. Marie Claire U.S. explained this facial regimen "essentially increases blood flow to the skin's surface, boosting collagen production and cell renewal." "Mixed with manuka honey, shea butter, essential oils and a secret ingredient, fans of the mask also include Kylie Minogue, Victoria Beckham and Michelle Pfeiffer," the publication added.

During her pregnancy, the Duchess of Cambridge also had to switch beauty products for the sake of the princess. Kate had stayed away from using any products that may contain potentially harmful retinoids. A source revealed to US Weekly that Kate Middleton uses Trilogy's Rosehip Oil to keep her face line-free. "Kate continues to use rosehip oil in her daily skincare regiment," the source said, since “she loves the effect it has on her skin.”

Added to Kate Middleton’s glow following the birth of the royal princess was how the delivery was reportedly stress-free. A source told US Weekly the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to the new baby naturally. Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was delivered with no epidural. The source further revealed that the delivery went “remarkably well” with no complications.
