Kate Middleton's Baby No.2: 'Excited' Prince George Wears Blue Sweater To Meet Sister Princess Charlotte

Prince George was reportedly “excited” to meet his little sister Princess Charlotte. The family friend of the royals has revealed it that the one-year-old was thrilled to meet his little sister.

According to US Weekly, George has been awaiting the arrival of his little sibling and has been excited throughout Kate’s pregnancy. “He might have been a little shy around the new baby, but I heard everything went well. He’s great around other children. He’s a very curious boy,” said a source to US Weekly. Kate’s daughter was born on May 2 at St. Mary Hospital’s Lindo Wing. Prince George wore a blue sweater when he came to meet his little sister. The cardigan was sourced from Amaia and was sold out soon after Prince George made appearance in it.

The spokesperson of the brand told the website that they feel honoured that Prince George wore their cardigan. According to the spokesperson, Prince George is reportedly the cutest model the brand can have. Moreover, looking his best in the blue cardigan Prince George also waved at the crowd who was waiting to get the first look of the little princess. His picture was added on instagram by the UK Clothing company. It was captioned as #princegeorge #wearing AMAIA #congratulations.”

Prince George coupled his blue sweater with blue shorts from Rachel Riley's Heritage collection. Underneath his sweater he wore a white shirt and wore black shoes and blue socks. Even Riley was excited to see Prince George in her brand and according to E! Online, she said that they couldn’t be happier as Prince George chose to wear a piece from their collection on such a historic day.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate have carefully selected the name of their daughter and have also included name of Late Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth in her name. The new born will called Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. She will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, according to the website. Princess Charlotte was born in the morning at 8:34 am and weighed in at 8 lbs. and 3 oz.
