Kate Middleton and Prince William made a grand appearance at the Tusk Conservancy Awards on Sept. 12 in London. At the event, the she revealed that her son Prince George will be following in dad's footsteps.

Kate Middleton discussed her husband's passion for wildlife and told guests at the Tusk Awards when asked about conservation by a dinner guest.

"I'm just learning all the time and I think George will be too. I think he'll be following in his father's footsteps,"

During a speech at the Tusk Awards ceremony, Prince William said:

"Like any new parents, our thoughts inevitably turn to the world that our child will inherit. It is unfathomable to imagine a world in which children who have been born in the past couple of months may grow up in a world in which rhinoceros have ceased to live in the wild."

Prince William talks of his concern of wildlife in the first UK airing of a new documentary. Speaking to ITV and CNN in "New Father, New Hope", he talked ardently of his passion for Africa and his quest to protect endangered species. Prince William told ITV that becoming a father had made him even more focused to continue his mission to help endangered species. He almost shed tears on watching clips of rhino bleeding to death.

He said: "The wildlife is incredibly vulnerable and I feel a real protective instinct, more so now that I am a father, which is why I get emotional about it ... you want to stand up for what is very vulnerable and needs protecting."

"Elephants, rhinos and many other animals that are persecuted don't have a voice."

The Duke also admitted that his wife "probably thinks I am Africa potty".

"For me, it's a sense of freedom, being out in the middle of nowhere in Africa, looking at the projects, seeing the beauty of nature and the natural world, is just phenomenal".

He also spoke about the day Prince George was born at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington and revealed that he was chosen by the midwives at the hospital to do the first nappy change.

"I had every midwife staring at me, going, 'You do it. You do it'," the Duke said.

"But he's a little fighter. He wriggles around quite a lot. And he doesn't want to go to sleep that much, which is a little bit of a problem."

Kate Middleton and Prince William has done brilliantly as parents and we think Prince George certainly has a great role model for the entire world to look up to!
