Josh Brolin is thrilled to play the role as Thanos in the upcoming Marvel films. The actor shared the excitement to play the comic book character but did not reveal the exact details of the movie in which he will make an appearance.

“I love going into a comic book store and a guy connecting me with Thanos, and seeing the incredible regressive awe that happens. That’s fun, and I have a lot of respect for those fans. I’m excited about doing it, I really am,” he said to MTV.

When asked if he will make an appearance in “Captain America: Civil War” he said that Marvel president Kevin Feige will answer this question. He added that he is aware of what the production house is doing with his character but he does not know in which film his version of Thanos will be seen.

Brolin also said that his character will stand up against all the Avengers and there is no specific Avenger with whom he will fight. “I’m bringing the wrath,” he said. Brolin’s Thanos was last seen in the post credit scenes of “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” He was shown taking a vow to get hold of infinity stones.

According to Screen Rant Brolin’s Thanos will be seen in his full glory in two-part "Avengers: Infinity War. “Avengers: Infinity War – Part I” opens on May 4, 2018 and “Avengers: Infinity War – Part II” will arrive on May 3, 2019.

In the comics, Thanos is born on Saturn’s moon Titan and is also known as The Mad Titan. He is fascinated with nihilism and death and falls in love with the Mistress of Death. He tries to have a normal family life but murders his family members after Mistress of Death visits him. Created by Jim Starlin the character first made an appearance in comic book no.55.

Brolin’s Thanos first made an appearance in 2014’s film “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
