It's perfectly normal for future dads to worry about their pregnant wives on extreme circumstances, and rapper Jay-Z is no different.

Since Beyonce announced her pregnancy, the whole world seems to want to take care of the R&B princess, and husband and father-to-be Jay-Z might be the most worried of all. The rap superstar and mogul is known to be a hands-on detailed leader when it comes to his businesses, to him, being a father is the most important duty of all. It was said that Jay-Z made sure to check Beyonce's each performance since finding out about the pregnancy, seeing if his wife wore appropriate clothing and did minimal dancing.

"He was even concerned about her performing in heels but the doctor said it would be fine," says one close friend of the pair in a report by Us Magazine. The rapper was also reported to take his pregnant superstar wife to the doctor every after performance, asking if anything went wrong after Beyonce danced on heels for thousands of fans each concert. When husband Jay-Z found out that it was normal and even more beneficial for pregnant women to exercise (in Beyonce's case, performing), the soon-to-be-dad quickly became nonchalant and supportive for his wife's choice to continue her shows.

The pair shocked the music world and fans from all over the globe when Beyonce showed up at last week's MTV VMA's with a huge baby bump, saying to photographers "I have a surprise for you all."

"I want you to stand up and feel the love growing inside me," shouted Beyonce after performing her latest single "Love On Top" at the VMA's. Husband Jay-Z was with rapper Kanye West at the side of the stage when the ex-Destiny's Child member cradled her pregnant stomach for the whole world to appreciate.
