Manchester United is pretty confident to sign the Juventus midfielder, Arturo Vidal with the forward Javier Hernandez heading to the other side.

After a rather wonderful World Cup, Vidal's potential transfer to Manchester United has been the talk of the town and just recently, the ink once again dried on a brand new one.

According to reports from Mexico and England, Juventus is in the middle of talks to sign Hernandez, which fits in the potential transfer of Vidal. Thus far, the move for the 27-year-old appears to be more likely as Hernandez is in the verge of transferring to Juventus as well.

Although Hernandez proposed transfer to Juventus is actually not an official part of the Vidal deal, it is seen to be a sign of good will between United and the Italians.

On the other hand, Louis Van Gaal hopes that this move takes his side to another step closer to secure the midfield enforcer as it appears that the Manchester United manager is determined to add the Chilean to his ranks after bids for Juan Cuadrado of Florentina and Angel Di Maria of Real Madrid. The Dutchman is also ready to scrap the controversial "medical-before-money" move to secure the signature of the 27-year-old.

Meanwhile, it appears that everything is going well for Van Gaal as the Juventus star has been spotted signing a Manchester United shirt for a fan.

Although the Chilean is currently recovering from a knee injury, which was the issue of Van Gaal during the protracted transfer saga, the transfer rumours were once again fuelled by the snaps of the midfielder autographing a shirt at the pre-season friendly against A-League All Stars side in Australia.

Fans who are hoping for Van Gaal to finally snap up the Chilean are surely delighted by the recent photos.
