HTC One M7 users will be pleased to find out that the company has started to roll out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to a number of markets. The confirmation came from HTC’s Mo Versi indicating the release of the device from April onwards. As with other Android rollouts, the launch will be carried out in stages explaining why certain people will get early access while others delayed.

Likewise, aside from the AT&T release, HTC should also be rolling out the firmware to other markets including Asia. As per the executive's tweet:

The Android 5.0 Lollipop brings a number of changes to the HTC One M7 device. Apart from the ART Runtime, people should also expect the following changes:

· Lock screen and Notification: New Lollipop UI style with enhanced privacy features

· Recent apps: Supporting multiple pages

· Addition of search function within settings

For those who did not receive the notification yet, they can check the update manually. Check the software update prompt under settings. HTC One M7 has been widely received by the market since its release. The device comes with the following specs:
