The actor is said to be playing the right hand man of Yondu Udonta (Michael Rooker). The report also reveals that the Ravagers will have a bounty on Rocket Raccoon’s head for some unknown reason. The ransom is said to have created a rift within the Ravagers.

One person who could have helped Rocket in the situation is his best friend Groot (Vin Diesel). However, the future of the character is currently uncertain after the events of the first movie and it is not clear how big a role the character will have in the sequel.

Diesel is currently busy filming “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage,” while his fellow cast members are at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta to film “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.” Pictures from the production set have leaked online, but they do not reveal any major details about the plot of the movie.

Pictures of cast member Zoe Saldana (Gamora) posted on Twitter by ZoeSaldanaRussia, show the actress ready with her green makeup to film her scenes. The actress managed to hide her costume by wearing a long overcoat. More pictures from the set have been posted on the Twitter page of SuperheroMovieScoop.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is slated to be released on May 5, 2017 in the US and on April 28 in the UK. The release date for Australia hasn’t been revealed by the producers yet.
