Despite its delayed release, Rockstar Games has promised “GTA V” for PC will come with added features. Gamers should expect to hear new music coming from a new in-game radio station when the game version arrives on April 14, 2015.

Rockstar Games recently announced that a collection of new music for “Grand Theft Auto V” will make its debut alongside the release of the game’s PC version. Two of the score composers for “GTA V,” The Alchemist and Oh No, will reportedly be collaborating to create a new album that’s inspired by the game’s original score.

The album, called “Welcome to Los Santos,” will reportedly feature songs from Oh No and The Alchemist’s “partnership with Woody Jackson and Tangerine Dream to create a uniquely ambitious album.” “The Alchemist and Oh No weave together a musical journey that covers every corner of the fictional world of Grand Theft Auto V and features guests from across the musical spectrum,” Rockstar announced on its newswire.

Rockstar said the debut of “Welcome to Los Santos” with the release of “GTA V” for the PC will feature music coming from numerous artists. These include Earl Sweatshirt, Little Dragon, Phantogram, Freddie Gibbs, Popcaan, Killer Mike, Tunde Adebimpe and music from Future Island’s Samuel T. Herring. “GTA V” gamers will be able to listen to their music from a new in-game radio station that will be added to the Los Santos radio dial when the PC game becomes available.

According to IGN, the PC release of “GTA V” will come with a new radio station called “The Lab,” hosted by no other than the hip-hop artists The Alchemist and Oh No. The music from “Welcome to Los Santos” will debut with the release of the PC game before it becomes available for digital download and retail purchase in both vinyl and CD releases on April 21 from Mass Appeal Records.

As a tease, Rockstar Games has provided a sample of the first song from the album on its newswire, the song “Play It Cool” by Gangrene featuring Samuel T. Herring and Earl Sweatshirt. Rockstar has yet to announce if “Welcome to Los Santos” is exclusive to the PC version of “GTA V.”
