“Grimm” season 6 is all set to start on Jan. 6. On Monday, a fan asked on Twitter about the starting date of “Grimm” season 6. A swift reply came on the show’s official Twitter page, confirming the starting date of the new season.

“Grimm” is a supernatural series starring David Giuntoli in the lead as Nick Bukhardt. Nick is a descendant of the Grimms who are the protectors of human beings. The Grimms have incredible powers which they use to save normal human beings from all sorts of threats. Nick faces a constant conflict between his duties as a Grimm and as a homicide investigator. The show’s season 5 ended on a note when Black Claw leader Conrad Bonaparte (Shaun Toub) was stabbed to death by Sean Renard (Sasha Ruiz).

According to an interview given by David Giuntoli to TV Insider, the lead actor will be directing the third episode of the season. He says, "It’ll be the first episode after we return from hiatus, though we’re shooting out of order so it will air as our third episode."

It was earlier hinted that the battle will continue between Nick and Renard in “Grimm” season 6. The starting date of show's latest season has been confirmed in the show’s official Twitter page. The show airs on Fox8 in Australia.

Fans are participating in Grimm Fan Art contest which has been started by NBC. A fan has shared an artwork which features Rosalee Calvert. #GrimmFanArt has become popular on social media sites and is helping in the promotion of “Grimm” season 6.
