Floyd Mayweather Jr. is known for his luxurious way of living. He doesn’t care how much he spends for the people he has a strong bond with. Recently, it has been reported that Mayweather has bought his professional basketball player pal Isaiah Thomas a Bentley worth $200,000.

Thomas, who plays point guard for the Boston Celtics, revealed in an interview with The Boston Herald that Mayweather had given him a pricey gift, which is a 2015 Bentley Flying Spur sedan valued at $200,500, back in February. The luxury car was delivered straight to Thomas’ home in Phoenix.

“He’s (Mayweather) given me a few gifts before, nice ones, but that one was unbelievable; it had everyone in the NBA talking,” Thomas said. “Every team we played after that, guys would come up to me (and ask), ‘Where’s the Bentley, does Floyd got something good for me?’ It surprised everybody.”

According to Thomas, his friendship with Mayweather is much more important than the material things he receives from the undefeated fighter. He added that he also tried to return the favour and give Mayweather presents, but he reckons it is tough to give a gift to someone who already has everything.

The report said that the friendship between Thomas and Mayweather started five years ago. Thomas went to see the undefeated champ while training. The two set up a meeting and became good pals ever since. Thomas said Mayweather treats him like his younger brother.

Thomas has been a constant figure in Mayweather’s last five fights. He has also joined Mayweather during his early training runs. Mayweather, on the other hand, has also shown his support for Thomas by watching his basketball games.

A car worth $200,000 is really a small thing for Mayweather. He doesn’t mind spending a huge amount of money on luxurious cars for himself as well. His car collection includes two Bugatti Veyron, a Bugatti Grand Sport, two Ferrari 458 Spider, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Porsche 911 Turbo S and a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.

TMZ Sports estimated Mayweather’s super fleet at $7.3 million. In January, Mayweather added a 2015 McLaren 650S Spider worth $370,000 to his car collection.
