"The Flash" Season 1, Episode 9, titled "The Man In The Yellow Suit," left viewers with big questions about Dr Wells' real connection to Reverse Flash. Fans hope to get quick answers from the next new episode, "Revenge of the Rogues." Meanwhile, the show boss is saying Episode 10 will show more of Firestorm, and a "Prison Break" reunion is coming up.

Spoiler alert: This update contains The Flash Season 1 mid-season finale spoilers. Read at your own risk.

A Flash 1x10 promo clip shows Cisco (Carlos Valdes) naming the man in the yellow suit as Reverse Flash. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) is not impressed, but Dr Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) says he likes it. The Flash Season 1, Episode 10 is about a more driven Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) who desperately wants to catch his nemesis.

Dr Wells As Reverse Flash In Fan Theories

The mid-season finale of The Flash Season 1 shows Dr Wells in possession of the tachyon, and he's standing right in front of a yellow suit. Reverse Flash steals the device earlier in the episode, right after beating Dr Wells to a pulp. The puzzling scene drew many speculations from the show's fans.

One of the most popular fan theories is that Dr Wells is Barry Allen from the future. He has the Reverse Flash suit to carry out an elaborate plan. Another theory is that Dr Wells is Reverse Flash, also from the future; hence, two Dr Wells are able to fight in a protected ring. (Time traveling has been hinted in the series since the premiere of The Flash.)

Firestorm Flies!

That Firestorm (Robbie Amell) is able to fly, and that he is able to break up the fight between The Flash and Reverse Flash in the mid-season finale are electrifying for many DC Comics fans. The Flash Season 1, Episode 10 will show more of this potential ally for Barry Allen, according to The Flash showrunner Andrew Kreisberg.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Kreisberg said that since "Barry does play nicely with others," it is possible for the Flash to "team up with other people or people" that the show is "introducing" to the viewers.

Kreisberg also teased the villains in Episode 10.

"The biggest thing is in episode 10, we have our first team-up between Captain Cold and Heat Wave. We have a Prison Break reunion with Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller," the show boss said.

"(P)eople are going to be excited" over the next new episode (mid-season premiere) of The Flash, Kreisberg promised.
