Kingsglaive
Luna's brother Ravus has been revealed, and he may have a considerable role in "Final Fantasy XV." Square Enix

“Final Fantasy” fans have started to take notice of the two other releases linked to the “Final Fantasy XV” game. Following the showcase of the Audi R8 that has been custom-designed to match the one in the CGI film, “Kingsglaive” has become the main attraction in the latest Weekly Famitsu.

Spotted by DualShockers, the magazine’s spread features a few screenshots, particularly one that shows Luna’s Brother, Ravus Nox Fleuret. According to the report, Ravus is part of the Niflheim Empire as one of its high ranking officers.

Another thing to note apart from a glimpse of the new character is the fact that the developer hinted his inclusion in the game. His change in outfit and expression in the game is said to be of importance. The speculations now have turned to the possibility that Ravus may have been the hooded character seen back in the E3 trailer from three years ago.

A new report from Gematsu features a couple of screenshots of six new characters in the film, including Ravus. The newest screenshot for Ravus can be seen above from the official website. He will be voiced by Japanese voice actor Yuuichi Nakamura. Other revealed characters include Glauca, a general of the Niflheim army, Pelna Khara, Tredd Furia, Axis Arra and Sonitus Bellum.

“Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV” will launch in select theatres on Aug. 19. For those who won’t be able to catch it can wait for the Blu-ray version this fall.

What fans could easily catch is the new episode of “Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV,” the animated shorts heavily linked to the game. The teaser trailer shows a glimpse of the young Noctis training in the sword. Fans also see King Regis and his interaction with his son at the table. Episode 3 will be titled Sword and Shield, with the trailer sneak peek seen below.

“Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV” episode 3 is slated to arrive on July 7, 6:00 a.m. PDT.
