Operations in Entain have recently been vigorous, with the firm struggling to beat its competitors and increase its Australian market share.

This does not come as a surprise as Entain has been one of the leading companies operating gambling sites in the UK and over 20 other countries across the globe.

Below is all you need to know about the recent upgrades of Entain's systems to acquire more customers if you love gambling.

The Laid strategies

According to Rob Wood, the CFO of Entain, the company has, over the years, been making significant strides into acquiring a significant share of this market. The Australian market is primarily dominated by giant domestic companies like Tabcorp that provide gaming products and services.

To maximize its leverage, the international brand mainly seeks to employ the down-under strategy. It is also banking on improving its online gaming presence, noting the inadequacy of its biggest competitors.

The market share trajectories of Entain continue to accelerate, as noted during a call with investors in the second quarter by Wood. A chart showing the performance of the share indicated a good trajectory in 2021, with the first half of 2022 believed to be better.

What differentiates Entain from its competitors

You can easily differentiate the company due to the great products and excellent customer proposition it offers. This can be highlighted in some of its recent operations.

Launching products like the Mates Mode has mainly been successful since it resonates with the clients. This social feature works by allowing the creation of accounts for groups of people with individual functionality and has so far received 250,000 chats.

Further, the recent launch of four online television channels on horse and greyhound illustrates the company's focus on advancing innovations and developments to suit customer propositions.

In addition to producing written and documentary content for punters, the media channels are part of Entains bigger plan to increase their market share. Thus, they make up a massive part of its media arm. The content and entertainment docket, led by Andy Hoad, is also keen on building its own media business to challenge competitors.

There currently are vacancies in this division. The slots to be filled include commentators, social media and online content creators, and writers for pre-face programmers.
