Dwyane Wade And Gabrielle Union Officially Exchanged ‘I Do’s’

It's official. Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are now a married couple. Wade and Union exchanged "I do's" on Aug. 30 at the Chateau Artisan castle in Miami, Florida.

According to US Magazine, Wade and Union opted for a black-and-white themed wedding as previously stated in the save the date invites that the couple sent prior to the big day. Union looked mesmerizing in a Dennis Basso gown. Wade, on the other hand, donned a customised white suit made by Dsquared2, a personalised bow tie from The Tie Bar, and a corsage by Floral Fix.

Singer John Legend was in attendance to serenade the newlywed and the guests too. The live music was even made livelier when a juke joint was started. Violinist Lee England Jr. reportedly performed as well, as reported by TMZ Sports.

Approximately, 200 guests came to witness Wade and Union exchange their vows. Some of the invitees shared snaps during their appearance at Wade and Union's wedding. The hashtag "#thewadeunion" instantly became a trending topic on social media.

"We celebrated amazing love tonight, partied nonstop, gotta fix my baby's bow tie, lol, love you," La La Anthony wrote on Instagram.

Miami Heat owner Micky Arison and his wife were also in attendance. "Hollywood as hell #TheWadeUnion," Arison wrote as his photo's caption.

Chris Bosh and his wife were there as well. "@mrsadriennbosh and I are ready to share a special moment with our family @dwyanewade & @gabunion #thewadeunion," Chris wrote.

Other Heat players, such as Ray Allen and Shane Battier, Dorell Wright of the Portland Trail Blazers, and "Think Like A Man" producer Will Packer were also among the guests.

The Daily Mail reported that Wade and Union have spent $5 million for their extravagant wedding.

The marriage is second for both Wade and Union. Wade was once married to Siohvaughn Funches, to whom he had two children, Zaire, 12 and Zion, 7. Union was also married to former National Football League (NFL) player Chris Howard, but she didn't have a child with him. Wade and Union began dating in 2009. They had a brief split blaming their busy schedules and other demands of their respective careers. During the time when Wade and Union had broken up, the basketball player reportedly fathered a child named Xavier with a friend. However, Wade and Union got back together. He popped the question in December with the help of his two sons and one nephew. Union has stated in an interview with Arsenio Hall that she and Wade has decided to sign a pre-nuptial agreement to safeguard their personal assets.
