‘Dead Trigger’ Developer Reveals New Zombie Shooter For Mobile Devices: "Unkilled"

After the success of “Dead Trigger” and its sequel “Dead Trigger 2,” game developer Madfinger Games is set to release another zombie-infested shooter with “Unkilled.” The game will be available for both iOS and Android mobile devices, though no official release date has been announced yet.
Unlike the previous two “Dead Trigger” games, “Unkilled” will be set in New York City or at least what is left of it, as the zombie apocalypse has pretty much taken over the whole state. According to Pocket Gamer, the “Unkilled” game will be a storyline with hundreds of missions and time-limited quests for the player to perform, most of which probably involve killing zombies.
“'Unkilled' will offer each player the possibility to experience what it is like to get caught up in the chaos arising from the outbreak of the zombie apocalypse in the stylised backdrop of New York City,” a press release from the “Unkilled” website reads.
There will reportedly be plenty of guns to purchase on an in-game store as a way for players to defend themselves from the zombie horde. Players will also be able to upgrade their weapons and level them up up to 15 times to make them more effective against the undead, though what those upgrades are and how they’re achieved are currently not known.
The setting of New York appears to be one of the big factors of the game, as the trailer showcases plenty of areas of the city that have been infected by the zombies. Locations shown so far include a mall, a subway station and various outdoor areas like Times Square.
Another notable addition to the game is the massive zombies that were shown in the trailer. Most of the zombies in the game appear to be regular human-sized ones, but it appears that the player will be forced to fight these enormous enemies on their travels as well, which are almost Hulk-like in design. The main site even teases shield-wielding zombies for the players to go up against.
No gameplay videos have been released for the game, though a demo will reportedly be available during the Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco. Players can also sign up for the game’s newsletter here, if they’re curious about the game.
