The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016 will begin on Jan. 6 in Las Vegas, U.S. Companies that will attend the tech show have started sending out invitations. After Sony, now Samsung is sending out invitations for its press meet.

According to G for Games, Samsung will begin showcasing its products at 14:00 pm and end at 14:45 pm. As of this writing, there is no information available on the new Samsung products that will be unveiled at the press conference.

Speculations suggest that Samsung may unveil its new flagships, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones at the CES 2016. However, speculations also point out that probably the South Korean tech giant may use the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2016 event that is going to be held next month to unleash Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones. Samsung is expected to hold the exclusive launch event on Feb. 21 in Barcelona.

One smartphone that Samsung is likely to unleash during its press meet at CES 2016 is Galaxy A9, Sam Mobile reported. It will be a newest addition to the Galaxy A series smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 was recently found listed on Samsung’s Iran website, GSM Arena reported. It is expected to arrive with 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display that supports full HD resolution. It will be powered by Snapdragon 620 chipset and 3 GB of RAM.

The Galaxy A9 will come with 32 GB of native storage. Its external storage will carry support for up to 128 GB of microSD. It will arrive preinstalled with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The rear camera of the handset will be of 16-megapixel and it will be coming with a selfie camera of 5-megapixel. Other specs of the Galaxy A9 include Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a fingerprint scanner. It will be available in color variants like white, black and gold.
