After a slow start, the Memphis Grizzlies are starting to grind it out on defense and have won three in a row. The Golden State Warriors have been doing it on both ends of the floor riding a four-game winning streak and have one of the best records in the league at 8-3 so far this season.

The Western Conference rivals meet Wednesday night with the Warriors hoping to end a nine-game skid against the Grizzlies, who has won every game in this match-up since November of 2010.

One of those wins came earlier this 2013-14 NBA regular season as the Grizzlies drubbed the Warriors, 108-90 in Memphis. Six players ended up in double-figure scoring for Memphis led by Zach Randolph (23 points and 11 rebounds) and Mike Conley (20 points and 6 assists).

The Warriors are 9th in the league in scoring (104.3 PPG), 6th in assists (24.3 APG) and 6th in points allowed (96.3 OPPG). However, their offense can’t seem to get on track when they are up against Memphis. In four meetings last season, they failed to crack the century mark averaging only 92.0 points per outing.

Against other teams, the Warriors have been getting contributions from practically everyone. Klay Thompson (20.5 PPG) and Stephen Curry (19.9 PPG and 8.7 APG) powers the back court as Andre Iguodala (14.1 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 5.6 APG and 2.1 SPG), David Lee (17.4 PPG and 8.9 RPG) and Andrew Bogut (6.5 PPG and 8.4 RPG) completes the potent starting unit.
