“The Bachelorette” season 11 will feature at least three women, Britt Nilsson, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Amy Schumer. While Nilsson and Bristowe will have to battle it out to become the star bachelorette, Schumer will appear as a guest.

In an interview with HuffPost Live, “The Bachelorette” season 11 host Chris Harrison revealed that Nilsson and Bristowe got along well instead of going against each another in an attempt to be the only bachelorette of the show.

According to Harrison, Nilsson and Bristowe “empowered each other” and “took control of the situation and made the best of what could have been a bad situation.” For the host, the two bachelorettes “did themselves and women proud.”

In “The Bachelor” season 19, Nilsson was eliminated in the seventh week while Bristowe was eliminated in the ninth week. The season’s bachelor Chris Soules chose fertility nurse Whitney Bischoff, 29, to be his fiancée.

While promoting his new book “The Perfect Letter: A Novel,” which will hit shelves on May 19, Tuesday, Harrison said the fact that some people are upset about the twist featuring two bachelorettes in “The Bachelorette” season 11 is a good thing.

In an article he wrote in Yahoo TV, Harrison acknowledged that the concept of having two bachelorettes is something people will either love or hate. He also revealed that “The Bachelor” season 11 is going to be “more bizarre, more controversial, and more awkward than any we’ve ever had before.”

According to Harrison, Nilsson really felt like she had a slight edge over Bristowe during the first night of “The Bachelorette” season 11. He also wrote that after hosting “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” since 2002, he still gets excited every time he walks out of the shows’ mansion and its famous driveway.

Meanwhile, on March 14, Schumer appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” where she revealed that she will appear on “The Bachelorette” season 11. As a guest, she met the 25 bachelors who will vie for the love of either Nilsson or Bristowe.

Schumer told Jimmy Kimmel that she knows who between Nilsson and Bristowe was chosen by the 25 bachelors as the bachelorette. The “Trainwreck” actress also joked that she has told people about her insider scoop of “The Bachelorette” season 11.
