Paul Bettany is all set to appear as the red-faced Vision in “Avengers: Age of Ultron”; however, this will not be his only appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor recently hinted in an interview that he will reprise his role in future Marvel movies.

“That’s the really great thing about the Marvel gig for me. Now I know that they have plans and I can be even more judicious about the stuff that I do outside of that work,” he revealed in his interview with News.com.au. The actor also admitted that he did not watch any Marvel films before he was cast as Vision. After being cast as Vision, he reportedly did a lot of research by watching all the Marvel films and found that they all are “interlinked.”

The actor is reportedly making efforts to understand the Marvel Universe, and this is another indication that he will be seen as Vision after the “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” according to Screen Rant. Bettany is also all praises for the people at MCU. He added in his interview that everyone at the studio makes him “feel at home.” He also thinks that they are “funny” and “creative” people,” and the sets they use are enormous.

Vision is an android and is a part of the Avengers team. In the comic book “Avengers#75,” Scarlet Witch becomes the love interest of Vision and they later get married. However, it is not known whether the same storyline will be followed in MCU.

Bettany has previously played the role of JARVIS, Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) virtual assistant in “Iron Man” and “Avengers." It has been previously reported that Vision will be associated to JARVIS, though details in this regard have not been provided.

Meanwhile, Bettany was recently seen in an action comedy film “Mortdecai.” He was cast with Johnny Depp in the film and he played the role of Jock Strapp. The film was directed by David Koepp. Besides acting, Bettany has also directed a film called “Shelter.” It is currently in the post-production stage.
