Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference 2012 brought about new and exciting offerings from Apple which made a lot of people enthusiastic about their products. Thought that is the case, not every topic was covered thus leading to these important questions: What was mentioned? What was missing?

Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple was the one who took the stage and explained the newest and exciting features from the company. Aside from Tim Cook, Phil Schiller also took the stage and explained additional features from Apple. The WWDC was held at Moscone West in San Francisco.

What Was Mentioned?

MacBook Pro and MacBook Air

Apple decided to do a make-over with their MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. Apple announced during the WWDC 2012 MacBok Pro (both 130-inch and 15-inch) will have Retina display and would be thinner as compared to the previous model. On the other hand, the MacBook Air also received an update as well as a US$100 price cut.

iOS 6

Apple also announced during the WWDC 2012 its iOS 6 update beta version which made all Apple fans excited. This new iOS update enables the phone to function faster and it also hosts a new line of exciting features.

What Was Missing?

iPhone 5

One of the noticeable missing announcement during the WWDC 2012 was the lack of iPhone 5 updates. Many people were anticipating the announcement of any kind of official information about the new smartphone but at the end of the conference, no official announcement from Apple was disclosed leaving all rumors about the iPhone 5 still rumors.

Mini-iPad

Ever since the new iPad was announced, rumors about the a mini-iPad also surfaced. Apple fans are expecting that these rumors will be addressed during the WWDC 2012 but no announcement or even a hint about the a mini-iPad was revealed.
