Fans will be expecting a lot from the latest offering from Apple Inc. This fall the new iPad Mini 4 might live up to the expectations after two disappointing releases such as the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3, last year. The Mini 4 is said to be the world thinnest tablets ever.

The web is full of rumors and assumptions and discloses videos on the specs and features of the iPad Mini 4. According to the reports of Tech Times, the fourth generation of iPad Mini will resemble the iPad Air 2 with a thinner body and single row of speaker holes. It is said to have the either the latest A9 or A9X processor chip with an M9 co-processor with an increased RAM of 2GB.

The Mini 4 would have a 7.9 inch screen as reported by Venture Capital Post. It is also reported that the device will be using the latest version of iOS 9. It will also feature the Touch ID system along with the Apple Pay support for better security for device and online purchases.

Apple has pulled off the original iPad Mini from its websites and stores, as reported by 9to5Mac. All the remaining iPad models would now have Retina displays coupled with unified Wi-Fi and cellular variants. French site Nowhereelse.fr shared a video and few images the rear casing of the iPad Mini 4. The new device is highly expected to feature a strong speaker, a longer battery life and better storage than the third generation.

Along with iPad Mini 4 the company has plans to launch two new products - iPad Air 3 and 12 to 13-inch iPad Pro. These devices are expected to be launched by the last quarter of the year. Apple is yet to finalize the release dates. The iPad Mini 3 starts at AU$499. It is being speculated that the fourth version of the iPad Mini series would be more affordable than the previous one.
