Apple has supposedly made new adjustments in the new iPad in order to address the growing overheating issue in their latest iPad model.

The news about this revision was first reported by Digitimes, the popular Taiwanese technology site. According to Digitimes, Apple is quietly applying these revisions in order to address the growing overheating issue about the new iPad. The revisions would supposedly be released in the new iPad by the holiday season.

Apple is reportedly fixing three important aspects in the new iPad in order to fix the overheating issue. Here are these three revisions that Apple would supposedly implement:

Battery

The new iPad would supposedly be revised in order to prevent the overheating issue. The revision for the new iPad's batter would reportedly make the tablet "slightly lighter and thinner than previously designed".

LED

Another aspect that Apple is planning to revise is the new iPad's LED which supposedly makes it hotter than usual. Despite that, Apple has assured users that it would not affect the Retina Display that the new iPad has.

Touch-screen Panel

The touch-screen panel in the new iPad would undergo revision as well. Reports state that the new iPad will utilize Sharp's indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO) panel technology. This would transition into having a thinner profile for the new iPad as well as "longer battery life". This would also mean that Apple will be changing supplier from Samsung to Sharp.

The overheating issue has been plaguing the new iPad ever since it was released in the market. Despite that, the new iPad has been performing well in the market due to the 9.7-inch Retina display feature in its display. Other features of the new iPad includes A5X quad-core graphic processor, 5MP camera with advanced optics, a backside illumination sensor, auto white balance, and face detection.

The new iPad is already available in Australia with a selling price of AU$539 (16GB), AU$649 (32GB), and AU$759 (64GB) for Wi-Fi model. As for Wi-Fi + Cellular model, the price range is from AU$679 (16GB), AU$789 (32GB), and AU$899 (64GB).
