Andy Murray marries his long-term girlfriend, Kim Sears, in his hometown in Scotland at Dunblane Cathedral led by Reverent Colin Renwick on Saturday. The couple had their reception at a luxury hotel named Cromlix House owned by Andy’s father Nigel Murray.

The tennis master and Sears, both 27, got engaged last year in November. Murray said that he is not afraid to marry; he told BBC Sports that he is “…not nervous about getting married because we've been together like nine-and-a-half years and we've lived together for six or seven years as well.” The couple felt like they have been married in a long time already in terms of how they live their lives together. What they are massively preparing for right now, however, is having a family because according to them, that would literally change everything they are used to.

Beforehand, Andy Murray had a hard time in choosing her best man, while Kim Sears hilariously had trouble choosing her bridesmaids as well. According to US Magazine, the newlyweds ended up having Murray’s brother and fellow tennis player Jamie Murray and friends Ross Hutchins and Carlos Mieand as best men. They also chose four female friends as bridesmaids. Murray was spotted wearing a kilt in blue and green while Sussex native Sears wore a white, embroider and three-quarter length sleeves gown with long veil, Daily Record reported.

Fans all over the world posted their best wishes for the newly married couple. Even the Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon also offered her congratulations. The couple left the cathedral with a grey car decorated with ribbons and are hearten by a bunch of people outside. The husband and wife plans to go on their honeymoon a year after.
