CBS’ long-running soap “The Young and the Restless” earned the most number of Emmy nods at this year’s 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards pre-nominations. This week, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, or NATAS, released the list of top drama performer choices in each category.

Nominations for the 2017 Daytime Emmy Awards will be announced on March 22, live on “The Talk” on CBS. There has been no announcement if the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, which will take place on April 30, will be televised. Last year, there was no broadcast for the event held on May 1 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites in Los Angeles, California in the US.

“The Young and the Restless” led the other shows, ending with 19 Emmy pre-nominations. NBC’s “Days Of Our Lives” followed suit with 14 pre-nominations, while “General Hospital” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” had 12 and 9, respectively.
